Center for Speech and Language Processing
The Center for Speech and Language Processing (CSLP) is committed to research on foreign/second language processing, utilizing theories and techniques across the disciplines of linguistics, psychology, neuroscience, and medical science. In response to the urgent social needs, the Center also focuses on a wide variety of research topics related to speech, language and hearing sciences to improve the lives of individuals with communication disorders.
Currently, the Center conducts research on speech and language processing in foreign/second language learners, the elderly, children with cochlea implants, and children with autism spectrum disorder. The Center not only offers support for the clinical assessment and intervention of speech disorders but also engages in innovative research and development of hearing rehabilitation equipment. Through collaborations with special education schools, medical organizations, and industry partners, the Center remains at the forefront of advancing hearing rehabilitation technology.
